How does the Aervana work?

What are the materials used for Aervana?
The pour spout is stainless steel, and the tube inserted in the bottle is a food safe PET plastic. The cover is ABS plastic with electro-plated finish.
What kind of certification do you have?

This is an American brand, designed in Taiwan, made in China.
Is Aervana patented?

What is the design principle of Aervana?
The Aervana’s patented pneumatic process provides high-speed aeration with the ideal mix of air and wine, with a push of a button. Aervana instantly opens the full flavor profile of wine.
Why is Aervana effective?
The patented Aervana electric pneumatic process provides more air surface contact to speed oxidation than any other aerator.
What is the difference between Aervana and a funnel style aerator?
We are the world’s first electric wine aerator. Air is injected under pressure into a narrow flow of wine through the tube to maximize and focus the exposure of the wine to bubble surface. The air exposure is 6 times greater than gravity fed funnel style aerators. It is focused on just the wine that flows through the device and into your glass for the fastest aeration in the world. It has the capacity to dispense fully aerated wine at 4 ounces（114m) / every 2 seconds. The Aervana is designed to leave wine sediment in the bottle unlike the funnel style where the wine would need to be decanted using traditional methods. Plus there is no lifting, holding, aiming and spilling.
Does Aervana need batteries to operate?
Yes – 6 AAA 1.5V batteries which are included with your Aervana. You can aerate and dispense more than 250 bottles of 750ml wine with one set of batteries.
Is there anything I need to do before using my Aervana?
Before using your Aervana, insert the batteries (included in the box).
Is Aervana dishwasher safe?
No. Aervana is an electric product and is not dishwasher safe. Aervana can be cleaned by dispensing water through the unit from an empty wine bottle filled with water just as you would normally dispense wine through the product. If desired/needed, take a slightly damp washcloth and wipe the exterior of the Aervana to clean it.
Okay.... What’s a “taste test?”
Pour a glass directly from the bottle. Taste it. Now dispense a glass from the Aervana and taste the difference aeration makes.
Order and Shipping
Which methods of payment does aervana.com accept?
We accept payment via PayPal, MasterCard, VISA, Discover Card, and American Express. We do not accept checks or cash. Please note that we only accept one form of payment per order.
Will I get an email confirmation for my order?
Yes. Within minutes of placing an order, you will receive a confirmation sent to the email address that you provided.
How do I change or cancel my order?
Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once they have been placed. However, we do accept returns of the Aervana, subject to our Return Policy.
I didn’t get an order confirmation number, but I see a charge on my credit/debit card, what do I do?
If you see a charge on your card but the order did not go through (you were not shown an order confirmation number), it is likely a pending virtual charge or hold that was generated when you attempted to submit your order. This will drop off of your statement within a few days. However, if you are concerned, we recommend calling your bank or Credit Card Company or contacting Aervana Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-844-893-2555.
Who is eligible to make a purchase on this site?
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on www.aervana.com. If you are under the age of 18, you should use this website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
I received an error message when trying to check out. What does this mean?
The majority of errors that you see during checkout will be displayed on the screen in red. The most common errors are for an incorrect billing address, or declined credit card.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email from UPS with your tracking number and a link to check the status of your shipment.
What is your shipping policy?
Orders placed by 2pm EST on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) are usually fulfilled and shipped in 1-2 business days from the date of order. A shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order has left our facility. Aervana uses every reasonable effort to fill your order in accordance with the estimated shipping date, however we will not be held responsible for any delays in filling your order. We ensure shipments are in compliance with all guidelines and regulations set forth by federal and state guidelines and ship by the carrier designated by Aervana.
Can I expedite my shipping?
We currently offer the following domestic shipping options with UPS (for orders placed with delivery to the United States).
Please note that all shipment times are calculated based on date shipped (usually 1 – 2 business days after the receipt of the order), and Standard Business Days exclude weekends and holidays:

Do you ship internationally?
We are currently able to ship the Aervana to the following countries:
Please note, additional international shipping and customs brokerage fees will be applied. International Shipping charges are calculated based on the carrier, the total weight, the destination postal code, the method of shipping selected, and customs brokerage fees. In addition to the calculated shipping charges, customers shipping internationally will also be assessed fees at the border for additional Customs Duty and sales tax that must be paid by the customer prior to receipt of goods purchased.
Will I be responsible for additional fees, like duty and tax on my order?
If your delivery address is outside of the United States, you will be responsible for any additional fees accrued during the customs clearance process.
Can I change my shipping options after my order has been placed?
No, we are not able to change or cancel any order once it has been placed. Please be sure to review your order details at checkout before submitting the order.
My order arrived damaged. What do I do?
If you notice the damage before accepting the package, please refuse delivery and contact Aervana Customer Service at 1-844-893-2555.
