The team behind the original, push-button, electric wine aerator announces brand new Seattle Headquarters
As we launch into 2016, the team behind Aervana— the original, push-button electric wine aerator— is gearing up to make waves during Aervana’s first full year on the wine accessories market. We are preparing for many exciting developments this year, including the official opening of our new Pacific Northwest headquarters, located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle. Aervana is right at home in the thriving wine communities of Seattle and Woodinville, which includes many of our winery partners.
The Aervana electric wine aerator debuted in March 2015 at the International Home and Housewares show in Chicago, becoming an IHA Innovation Award Finalist. Wine lovers know that many bold, young, or tannic reds benefit from aeration. By sitting on top of the bottle and aerating while it dispenses, Aervana both aerates effectively and helps overcome many of the challenges common to other aerating devices. Unlike with lift and pour-through aerators, there’s no mess from dripping or spilling and sediment is kept in the bottom of the bottle, instead of your glass. With the simple push of a button, Aervana opens up the full flavor profile of your wine—easy, immediate and fun to use.
Since its debut, Aervana has been making its way into some of the finest tasting rooms, retailers and wine bars up and down the west coast. Here in Washington, you can find Aervana both for purchase and in use behind the bar at Columbia Winery, Goose Ridge Winery, Patterson Cellars and Pondera Winery— all located in Washington’s popular wine hub, Woodinville. Further down the coast, you can find us at the popular Nectar Wine Lounge and at Les Clos wine bar, where Mark Bright of San Francisco’s Three-Michelin-Star restaurant, Saison, is at the helm as proprietor and wine director. You can also find Aervana at the always-bustling Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant in San Francisco and at Napa’s beautiful Carneros Inn.
Online consumers will find Aervana on our website, as well as on SharperImage.com and WineEnthusiast.com. We also had the recent privilege to partner with Walla Walla’s Sleight of Hand Cellars, whose 2013 Bordeaux-blend, ‘The Conjuror’ showcased beautifully through the Aervana at the first-ever San Diego SommCon, as well as the popular San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival in November. Aervana is also excited to announce a new partnership with Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance, where we'll be alongside superior winemakers at the prestigious Reveal event in Walla Walla on Monday, April 18 at Dunham Cellars. We are so grateful to work with such incredible industry partners, and are excited to watch that list grow in 2016.
