Valentine's Day: a real "hit or misser" on the holiday scene.
If you're sitting at your desk right now, unable to focus on anything but tonight's oh-so-anticipated romantic date night, complete with candles, a banging menu and a tall, handsome, love-of-my-life type, you're probably solidly in the "Valentine's Day: Yay !!" camp.
If, on the other hand , you're A) workin' on perfecting that ugly cry by yourself at home or B) completing the burning ritual of someone's hair and effects for some-black-magic-or-other-type-situation or C) sporting your favorite Anna Howard Shaw Day t-shirt with two suffragette fingers to the world, I'd say that puts you more in the "Valentine's Day is Not So Much for Me" camp.
You may be thinking at this point, "Oh, but these camps have opposite views on how to celebrate— or condemn— Valentine's Day." If that's you, it's okay to be wrong sometimes.
Because there are two things all of these folks can agree on: and that's wine and chocolate— the real team-players / VIPs / patron saints of today's holiday.
Whether it's in celebration or in self-pity, everybody can get down with some fine wine and delicious chocolate today. So why not do it up in style with real pairings?
Our friends at ProFlowers created the perfect infographic to lead you on your Wine & Chocolate quest. Whether you want to impress your honey with that amazing Barolo from the cellar, paired with Pure 85% dark chocolate from Theo, or see how delicious an entire bottle of Syrah and a pound of chili chocolate is all by yourself, we have you all set:
